Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal
At Chatswood Public School, we proudly deliver high-quality, inclusive education with over 140 years of tradition and innovation. We are committed to nurturing each student’s academic growth and personal wellbeing in a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
Our school offers exceptional learning opportunities for all students—featuring strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, Opportunity Classes for high-potential learners, a Multicategorical Support Unit, and a vibrant English–Korean bilingual program. We celebrate our community’s cultural diversity through EAL/D support and Community Language programs in Mandarin and Korean.
Beyond the classroom, students thrive in our creative arts and sports programs, including choir, dance, music ensembles and a wide range of physical activities. These experiences foster confidence, collaboration and a lifelong love of learning.
Our vision is “Excellence in a caring and enriching environment,” and our dedicated staff work closely with families to ensure every child is known, valued and supported. I warmly invite you to discover what makes Chatswood Public School such a vibrant place to learn and grow.
Warm regards,
Mr Cameron Jones,
Principal of Chatswood Public School
