Google Classroom

Google Classroom helps your child complete and submit homework online. Here's how to log in and get started:

1. Open Google Classroom:

Go to classroom.google.com on a computer, tablet, or phone. Or download the app from the App Store or Google Play.

2. Sign In with Your Child’s DET Email:

Use your child’s school (DET) email address and password. It looks like:
[studentname#@education.nsw.gov.au]

3. Join Google Classroom:

Look for your child’s class name.
If it’s not there, click the “+” icon and enter the class code given by the teacher.

4. Access Classwork and Homework:

Click the “Classwork” tab to see homework tasks (posted every Monday).

5. Homework submission:

When your child finishes their work, click ‘Turn In’ (or ‘Submit’ on the app) and confirm.

6. Feedback:

Teachers provide feedback through Google Classroom. Sometimes, students also give feedback to each other in class.

Important Notes:

✅ Homework is due by Friday afternoon.
❌ Work submitted after the following Monday won’t receive teacher feedback.
📅 Check Google Classroom every Monday afternoon for new tasks.

Reading Eggs

Reading Eggs is a fun online program that helps children learn to read.

1. Log in: 

Visit www.readingeggs.com
Click ‘Log In’ (top right corner) and enter your child’s username and password from the teacher.

2. Explore the Platform: 

Your child can enjoy different areas like Reading Eggs, Reading Eggspress, and more.

ABC Reading Eggs Junior (ages 2-4)
ABC Reading Eggs (ages 3-7)
Fast Phonics (ages 5-10)
ABC Reading Eggspress (ages 7-13)

3. Complete Assigned Tasks: 

Reading Eggs will be part of your child’s homework tasks.

Mathletics

Mathletics helps students improve maths skills through fun, interactive tasks.

1. Login details: 

Go to www.mathletics.com
Use the login details provided by your child’s teacher.

2. Explore

Students can access maths activities, games, and challenges.

3. Complete Tasks

Teachers may assign specific homework through Mathletics. Encourage your child to log in regularly.
