We are excited to welcome Therapy Dog Eli to Chatswood Public School in Term 4.
Eli is a member of Guide Dogs’ NSW Therapy Dog Team and is being generously provided to our school by Guide Dogs and one of their volunteers.
Eli is a 6-year old black Labrador, fully trained as a Guide Dog and certified as a Therapy Dog. He has several years of experience with children in primary and high schools (K-12) and also works for the Department of Justice supporting victims of Domestic Violence.
He will be attending our school on Thursdays. Several staff members have already received special training in handling Eli and will be closely supervising him during his time at school.
He is a resource for all children and staff to help make their time at Chatswood Public School even more special. If you have any concerns about Eli joining us, please contact Mrs Walters via the office.
